: A jester juggles the universe while standing in a pile of earths.

It's an interesting enough cover, but it's not clear what, if anything, it has to do with Queen.

swastika, although an ancient symbol, was also used to represent "S" letters joined for "socialism" under the National Socialist German Workers Party (Nazis), similar to the alphabetical symbolism for the SS Division, the SA, the NSV, and the VW logo (the letters "V" and "W" joined for "Volkswagen").

It has produced generations of Americans who are not libertarian, but are authoritarian libertines (the libertine trait is not necessarily bad, the authoritarian trait IS necessarily bad). How did the government bamboozle individuals into believing that robotic group-chanting in government schools is a beautiful expression of freedom? The TS grew rapidly and soon after became international.

America's flag obscenities started as early as 1875, and continued through the creation of the National Socialist German Workers' Party (German Nazis or NSGWP). Theosophical Society (TS) touted the explicit collectivist goal of "universal brotherhood." The political product was socialism and self-sacrifice to government by calling it the "greater good." The TS dogma reveals no knowledge of economics, markets, prices, trade or private property rights.

MILITARISTIC MASTURBATION MASOCHISM, DOMINATION, SUBMISSION, TATTOOS, HUMAN BRANDING, BURN SCARS, HITLER YOUTH YOUNG PIONEERS, NAZI CHIC, PARAMILITARY The Pledge of Allegiance was the origin the "Hitler salute" under the National Socialist German Workers Party (NSDAP).

swastika was used by the military and by socialists in the USA and in the USSR, before it was used by the National Socialist German Workers Party (NSDAP).

This is not really all there is: there have been any number of compilations since then (including the one that puts Queen hits in alphabetical order) and an unfortunately large number of releases featuring the three living ones that use the name Queen. In reality, when Freddie Mercury died, so did Queen.

SWASTIKA FETISH, NAZI FETISHISM, FASCIST FETISHISTS, FLAG FETISHES, NAZI NARCISSISM, SWASTIKA SADISM BONDAGE & DISCIPLINE, BDSM, POLICE STATE PORNOGRAPHY, RATED XXX !!

A truly beautiful cover and arresting opening salvo. The title is from a Marx Brothers movie, but otherwise it's all pomp and circumstance, like they just realised that their band name implies regal underpinnings. This is one of those albums that you ponder every time you see it in a second-hand bin. : An obvious sequel - not designed as a two-part 'Use Your Illusion'-style project as I had always assumed, this is merely the follow-up: black to the original's white, even though this is 'day' to its 'night'.

: Odd that "Bohemian Rhapsody" is not on this album, since its cover seems to be a still from that songs' iconic video. There's a lot of hair on this cover, and some cheesy paper-and-scissors editing. Diminished returns, though, which describes the music as well.

Queen, that most chameleon-like or even dare I say it 'mercurial' of bands (damn that pun and the horse it rode in on), was as tough to pin down visually as they were musically, following trends or even creating them as quited their whims.

Yet they were markedly image-conscious, and that's an important part of their - or, to be more specific, of Freddie Mercury's - legacy.

This was the last Queen album released during Freddie Mercury's life.
